Learned the Hard Way

So once again I am playing catch up on my blog. I don’t know why I do this to myself. I LOVE to blog, but I always put it on the back burner because I think I will do it later … then life gets in the way and poof! I didn’t get it done. So … This is my promise to try to do better, and my promise to myself because blogging helps to see things from a different perspective.

So, I am blogging about my sad misfortune a couple of weeks ago. We were at a friend of ours house. These friends are the only ones in our city that know about our practice of the lifestyle and how things are usually dealt with here at the Karr household. As a result, the Husband and I are more relaxed and at home at their house. The husband doesn’t embarrass me with or anything like that, but he will openly give me the eye, playfully threaten to paddle my ass, and if I cross one of the lines I am not supposed to, he does not hesitate to pull me aside and whisper promises of retribution when we get home.

It is an Honor

I am squirming in my seat … and no, not for the typical reason. *LOL* I am squirming because I cannot contain my excitement! I found out that I was nominated for an award!!!!! Actually, Ryann’s Revenge was … but I was nominated for a reward!

I was nominated for Best Contemporary Romance and I could not be more honored! When I got the email telling me that someone who read my book took the time to submit Ryann’s Revenge for a reward, I nearly cried. Not because it is a huge reward that will make a huge impact on my career (it may, but I doubt it) but because someone who liked my book took the time out of their busy day for me. For little old me! Time is the most precious thing in this world and someone spent it on me.

Ok, enough mushy stuff before I start crying. If you would like to vote for me or any of the other AMAZING authors who were also nominated you can follow the link below.

Thank you, readers!

Because without you,

I would not be writing.

So who is making Main Character Monday history you ask? It is the one and only Cara Bristol! Did you expect anything less from this amazing author? I think not. I get the privilege of interviewing March from Cara’s latest book Claimed by the Cyborg.

Surprise … *Head Desk*

Well, as you can all see, I survived my bio family’s visit. I am still owed a spanking for the attitude I threw at the Dommly while they were here, but at least I’m not going to get it for bumming a smoke off of my bio-sister (I know … nasty habit and it usually is not a habit for me, but the stress they put on me makes it really tempting and I often succumb to the temptation) because I was promised that the punishment for smoking would make past disciplines “look like child’s play.” … Even Lesley, who is not usually a top, threaten my butt … and Nurse Lesley is Big Sisterly enough to follow through with her threat.

Main Character Monday

It is that time of the week again! Main Character Monday! The author this week is a “new to me” author, Dakota Willink. And I must say, I am looking forward to whatever she has next! I love her work and the amount of detail she gives us is PERFECT.

The book today, Stepping Stone, is part of a series and I must say the first book had some MAJOR curve balls, and I LOVED it! I  loved it to the point that I WAS ecstatic when I didn’t have to wait for the second one … it would have possibly killed me to wait. *dramatic shiver*  I loved it so much that I am hosting both of the main characters this week! So, I give you Alex and Krystina from Dakota Willink’s Stepping Stone.
