Learned the Hard Way

So once again I am playing catch up on my blog. I don’t know why I do this to myself. I LOVE to blog, but I always put it on the back burner because I think I will do it later … then life gets in the way and poof! I didn’t get it done. So … This is my promise to try to do better, and my promise to myself because blogging helps to see things from a different perspective.

So, I am blogging about my sad misfortune a couple of weeks ago. We were at a friend of ours house. These friends are the only ones in our city that know about our practice of the lifestyle and how things are usually dealt with here at the Karr household. As a result, the Husband and I are more relaxed and at home at their house. The husband doesn’t embarrass me with or anything like that, but he will openly give me the eye, playfully threaten to paddle my ass, and if I cross one of the lines I am not supposed to, he does not hesitate to pull me aside and whisper promises of retribution when we get home.

Progress is Progress

First, I would like to let everyone know that MCM will happen on Wednesday this week, so be on the lookout for that tomorrow.

Now, the reason I decided to write this post. For the last month, I have been kind of stuck. I finished writing Fire Princess, so I picked up where I left off on the sequel to Ryann’s Revenge …

I HATE it! I am ready to scrap the whole 25,000-word doc and start over.

Surprise … *Head Desk*

Well, as you can all see, I survived my bio family’s visit. I am still owed a spanking for the attitude I threw at the Dommly while they were here, but at least I’m not going to get it for bumming a smoke off of my bio-sister (I know … nasty habit and it usually is not a habit for me, but the stress they put on me makes it really tempting and I often succumb to the temptation) because I was promised that the punishment for smoking would make past disciplines “look like child’s play.” … Even Lesley, who is not usually a top, threaten my butt … and Nurse Lesley is Big Sisterly enough to follow through with her threat.

The Extra Long Weekend

Today, after much arguing back and forth, my bio family is descending upon my house. Is it bad to say that I am not looking forward to it? *Head Desk*

That is not fair of me to say, I should be happy that they are coming and enjoy it … right? I mean … it has been a year since they were here and my kids will love having them here. <—– This is what I keep telling myself, but the dread of all that comes with them is overwhelming.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my grandmother, sisters, nephews, and my sister’s fiance, but my incubator (aka the woman who birthed me) is who I am worried about being here. It is her that causes all the issues. It is her that pits my sisters and I against each other, and it is her that bitches about everything!

Worst of all, it is her that causes trouble between the Dom and me. She will sit in her chair and bring up things that have caused us to fight in the past or compare him to my father and how much my husband is like him. She will keep doing that until I snap at her or start to believe what she says and snap at my husband … And we all know what happens we a sub snaps.

So … if you do now hear from me by Monday for MCM … I am either in jail for killing the incubator or still bent over my husband’s lap.

Wish me luck!
